About the B.F. and Rose H. Perkins Foundation
The B.F. and Rose H. Perkins Foundation was established in 1933 and began awarding grants, loans, and medical payments in July of 1943. Mr. Perkins often expressed his desire for the city and county of Sheridan, Wyoming to receive the full benefit of his estate.
Since its founding, the Foundation has been guided by a dedicated team of professionals who use their expertise to administer the trust and serve the young people of Sheridan. The B.F. and Rose H. Perkins Foundation has helped several thousand qualified students realize their dreams, making the Perkins’ dreams and deeds live on through them.
Board of Directors
The B.F. and Rose H. Perkins Foundation is operated by a Board of Directors that provides operational direction for the foundation. The current board consists of:

- MELISSA WATT – Trustee
- CODY SINCLAIR – Trustee
